Containing Proof versions of the range of UK coins for 1993, and includes the magnificent commemorative crown stuck in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II. No five or ten pence coins dated 1993 were struck for circulation. They can only be found in the 1993 Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated sets or from subsequently broken sets. The 1993 sets are also very special as they contain the only "Britannia" fifty pence coins to bear the 1993 date. Only a limited 22,571 1993 Proof sets were issued.
